I am Elise, AKA Hendrix, the author of this blog. I am a 19 year old young woman trying to get somewhere in the horse world. She lives in Austin, Texas. I enjoy Horseback Riding, sleeping, and writing. I enjoy music; mainly rock, but dabbles in some heavy metal, R&B, rap, techno, and pop. My favorite artist is Wired All Wrong, an independent rock band. I enjoy movies such as The Dark Crystal, Queen of the Damned, Bruce Almighty, The Devil Wears Prada, The Three Musketeers (the one with Tim Curry as the Cardinal), and The Count of Monte Cristo.

Shadow is a Rag-doll Grey Tabby cat, rescued from Georgetown Humane Society when I was 7. Shadow is an old, grumpy man who loves to attack power cords, sunbathe, and escape outside. He currently resides with my sister because her sister's cat died, and she needed companionship.
